Make a statement through the mail

No matter how you do it, it's important to reach out to your customers. Although typical snail mail is becoming increasingly expensive and almost 'outdated' there are still so many different ways you can communicate to both new and old customers. 

If you are a regular customer from 4AllPromos you know we like to reach out to our customers in many different ways including free samples, postcards, weekly e-mail campaigns and even Starbucks gift cards! 

The first thing to consider when setting up some sort of direct-mail package is decide what audience you are gearing the information to. Mass mailings and signage are great ways to attract new customers. Existing customers could most likely benefit from promotional on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter where they can also help spread the word to their friends and family.

Here are a few other ideas on how to spice up your 'direct-mail' campaigns:

1. Theme- Use the season or holidays to help create bold, colorful and enticing advertisements, flyers, custom imprinted promotional products or even YouTube jingles to attract customers. 

2. Variety- Don't hit the same old customers with the same old postcards or fliers. Spice up your marketing campaigns with unique mailers, free gifts, stickers or magnets and help your customers advertise you! 

3. Call to action- Encourage customers to find you on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest to learn more about your products and services. Set up an online contest or tell customers to send you their best jingle or a post a photo of their favorite product to your blog. Be creative and then award customers for doing the same! Incentives are a great way to bring in customers and get people talking. 

4. Follow up- It's always a good idea to follow-up with customers on a more personal level. Give your repeat customers a phone call or a personal e-mail or handwritten note to let them know how much you appreciate their business. It's not often that people take time out to simply say thank you.
